I hope this message finds you happy and healthy in the New Year! It’s hard to believe the holidays have flown by, and the first month of 2025 is already drawing to a close. While many of us had hoped that this Martin Luther King Jr. Day would mark the inauguration of our first Black female President, today remains a day to honor Dr. King’s enduring legacy. Regardless of what took place in the Capitol’s Rotunda today, this day belongs to Martin Luther King Jr. and the ideals he championed. In that spirit, I am writing to invite you to honor his memory and life’s work by participating in this National Day of Service. If you’re unable to volunteer today, I encourage you to sign up for a future opportunity or simply pay it forward with a kind act. Like Dr. King, we believe the world needs more light, love, and compassion. Let’s commit to spreading positivity and caring for those around us in his name. In Solidarity, |
