| Four years ago, Vincent Vertuccio and I created Suffolk for Biden to not just help get President Biden elected, but to also highlight our local down ballot races and help reach voters in swing states across the nation, and this year we are doing it again under the name Mobilize Suffolk Blue! (Mobilize Suffolk Blue on Facebook!) Believe it or not, locally that year we were being forecasted to take a huge hit and loose seats but we helped prove all those nay-sayers wrong, so much so that the Wall Street Journal covered our efforts as part of an article on the topic! In 2016 Trump won Suffolk by over 50,000 votes (this helped fuel the expectations of a blood bath) BUT in 2020 Trump and Biden finished almost in a statistical tie with Trump only having a 300 vote lead! We will do it again this year, but we need your help! As mentioned in the events section of our last newsletter, this evening is Mobilize Suffolk Blue’s Kick Off Rally! At 7pm we will be speaking with our Suffolk County Dems Chairman Rich Schaffer, Congressional District 1 Candidate John Avlon, NY Senate District 2 Candidate Craig Herskowitz, and just now Don Lemon confirmed he will be joining us!
