Welcome to the Town of Islip Democratic Committee website! Here you’ll find important information regarding upcoming events, relevant news and photos, and information about how to get involved. Our town is a historic and diverse community that is steadily trending blue. Now is our opportunity to make the local government work for the people instead of special interests and the well-off. Every day, we work to hold town hall accountable to the constituents which it ignores and strive to bring in elected officials who would be responsive to all of the people of the town (as well as all positions up the ballot). We fiercely believe in the ideal of government being by the people and for the people - meeting the people’s needs and ensuring an inclusive and fair community.
